About Capgras
Capgras Theatre Company is an emerging, London-based production company, comprised of two primary theatre makers originally from Orange County, California and Manchester, UK. The company originated in the MA Writing programme at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and, after a successful Edinburgh Fringe debut, is now focused on producing experimental writing and expanding our creative community.

Brooklyn Boukather
Brooklyn Boukather (she/her) is a classically trained, American actor with her BFA in Theatre from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where Richard Schechner lauded her performance as Young Woman in a mainstage production of Machinal as ‘beautifully controlled and yet passionate where needed.’ Professional credits include: The Crown (American Girl), The Chelsea Detective (Sophia), and Strangewife (Lauren/Leah). She will be on set for The Crow Girl in the new year, and is currently a producer in pre-production for The Ulysses Project.

Frazier Bailey
Frazier Bailey (he/him) is a writer/director for stage and screen. His work has been performed at The Bread & Roses Theatre, Brainchild Festival’s Hatch, Platform Southwark, Crushed Ear Society, Golden Goose Theatre, Trinity Laban Conservatoire, Webber Douglas Studio, and Arcola Theatre. He has developed his writing on a number of programmes and workshops run by Flux Theatre, Stephen Joseph Theatre, Bush Theatre, and Theatre 503. Strangewife is his second full-length play, after his debut Lavender had a sold-out run at the George Wood Theatre.
